🌿 **MKC International Students Trek – A Day to Remember! ** 🌿

                          






This weekend, our International Students group took some well-deserved time out to explore the beautiful Sherbrooke Forest trail in Belgrave and what an amazing day it turned out to be!  


From walking among the towering trees to enjoying peaceful trails, great conversations, and a relaxing lunch together, the experience was truly refreshing. It was the perfect chance to step away from routine, connect with nature, and build new friendships.  


This initiative came to life following the Student Lunch organised by MKC a few weeks ago, showing just how quickly great ideas can turn into meaningful experiences!  


A huge thank you to our Student Representative, Jeethesh Dsouza, for organising such a wonderful trek and bringing everyone together 👏

I was born and raised in the city of Mumbai, with two brothers—an older and a younger one. Though I grew up in Mumbai, my family roots are in Mangalore. My father hails from the beautiful village of Yekkar, and my mother’s side is from Permude. Mangalore has always felt like home, and some of my most cherished memories are from the school holidays spent visiting my grandparents, extended family and cousins I got married in 2004 and, in 2006, my husband Jerry Fernandes and I moved to Melbourne. A Successful Evening of Connections at Our First Singles Dating Event!

We are thrilled to share the success of our first-ever singles dating event, which took place recently at Duke of Wellington Pub in Melbourne CBD. It was an evening filled with laughter, conversation, and the beginning of many new friendships. Neel Carvalho, our fantastic MC for the evening, ensured everything ran smoothly, guiding participants through a variety of fun icebreaker games that kept everyone engaged and comfortable. From the moment our guests arrived, the atmosphere was vibrant, with everyone eager to mingle and make new connections. The event kicked off with an energetic round of  Two Truths and a Lie, where participants had the chance to share interesting facts about themselves and guess what was true. This set the tone for the afternoon of open conversations and genuine connections.
