  A Day of Prayer, Reflection, and Community at Bacchus Marsh The Melbourne Konkan Community gathered in large numbers on Sunday, 22 March 2026 , for the annual Way of the Cross held at the serene hill grounds of Our Lady Ta’ Pinu Shrine, Bacchus Marsh . It was a spiritually enriching afternoon marked by solemn reflection, meaningful prayer, and deep community connection. A Pilgrimage Experience on the Hill The warm weather added both challenge and significance to the walk up the hill, encouraging participants to reflect more deeply on the journey of Christ. The shared experience of climbing together as one community made the devotion especially moving and unifying. Monday, 11 March 2026 (Labour Day weekend)  Webster Reserve, Point Cook was buzzing with excitement as 7 men’s teams and 3 women’s teams battled it out in a full day of league + knockout matches. What made it even better? 👉 So many youngsters stepping up , showing skills, spirit and sportsmanship. 👉 Families & friends cheering loudly, bonding, laughing and making new memories. 👉 And of course… the biryani break that eased the mid‑day tension and fuelled the players for the rest of the games! 🤣🍛 🏆 Women’s Tournament Stellar Sharks took home the championship, with Rising Stars finishing as runners‑up!
