🌸 MKC Women’s Well-Being Day 2025 🌸


What an incredible day it was — a true celebration of womanhood, resilience, wellness, and community connection. 💖


The event was beautifully led by Emcee Sheba D’Souza, along with her lovely daughters Nikita and Namita, who brought their warmth, charisma, and vibrant energy to the stage. From the opening to the final farewell, they carried the crowd through moments of reflection, laughter, and celebration with grace and heart. 💫


🌿 The afternoon opened with a powerful session of self-reflection, encouraging every woman in the room to pause, look inward, and honour the strength and value they carry within.




🍽 A vibrant lunch followed, where delicious food met even better company. The hall was filled with laughter, heartfelt conversations, and beautiful moments of reconnection — and some new friendships in the making!



🎲 Team-building activities turned the energy up a notch as the women split into four groups and engaged in fun, interactive games. It was pure joy to see everyone getting involved, cheering each other on, and soaking up the lively, competitive spirit. This was followed by music and dance — because what’s a celebration without a little groove? 💃


🎤 One of the biggest highlights of the day? A side-splitting stand-up comedy performance by the ever-entertaining Rajat Chopra and Aarti Vincent, whose witty and light-hearted humour had the entire room in fits of laughter. It was a reminder that sometimes the best kind of healing is found in shared joy and a good laugh in good spirits 😄


🙏 To close the day, long-time MKC member Anita D’Souza led a heartfelt moment of thanksgiving and prayer a meaningful pause to give thanks to our Lord Almighty for the gift of this community and to continue to shower blessings for all future events.

I was born and raised in the city of Mumbai, with two brothers—an older and a younger one. Though I grew up in Mumbai, my family roots are in Mangalore. My father hails from the beautiful village of Yekkar, and my mother’s side is from Permude. Mangalore has always felt like home, and some of my most cherished memories are from the school holidays spent visiting my grandparents, extended family and cousins I got married in 2004 and, in 2006, my husband Jerry Fernandes and I moved to Melbourne. We are blessed with two wonderful daughters, Shania and Kiara. When it comes to hobbies, I love traveling—especially to places with mountains or scenic views. These awards aim to applaud and honor individuals who have not only excelled in their respective fields but have also made a significant impact on our community. In 2023, we are thrilled to have honored two outstanding individuals: Mira D'Silva and Nadine D'Silva.
