Celebrating Women's Wellbeing at MKC Women's Day!

 


What an exciting day we had yesterday at the Women's Wellbeing program organized by MKC Ladies! Held on Saturday, June 15, 2024, the event was a fantastic celebration under the theme "Have Fun and Feel Fab," and that's exactly what all the ladies did.

A huge thank you to the Westbrook Estate Community Fund, whose generous support made this event possible. We couldn't have done it without you!

Our wonderful day was filled with a variety of fun and exciting activities. The massage station and pampering session were a big hit, providing relaxation and rejuvenation for everyone who attended. The food was exceptional, with a delightful selection of finger foods that kept everyone satisfied and energized.

We were privileged to have insightful guest speakers join us. Dr. Sarita D'Souza of Qualiteeth Family Dental Care , shared invaluable tips on dental care, while Sharon Rodrigues, a speech pathologist, provided excellent information on speech and communication. Their sessions were informative and emphasized the importance of putting health first.
The event's success was also due to the invaluable help of our dedicated volunteers, who worked tirelessly to ensure everything ran smoothly. A big thank you to all of them!
The day was not only relaxing but also packed with enjoyable games and activities. To top it all off, we ended with a fantastic Zumba session that brought everyone together in joy and laughter.
Thank you to all the amazing women who came and made this day so special. Your participation and enthusiasm truly made the event unforgettable. We look forward to hosting more events in the future and continuing to celebrate and support our wonderful community!

I was born and raised in the city of Mumbai, with two brothers—an older and a younger one. Though I grew up in Mumbai, my family roots are in Mangalore. My father hails from the beautiful village of Yekkar, and my mother’s side is from Permude.
