What's a Mangalorean event without some Baila moves? The dance floor was alight with laughter and happiness as everyone grooved to the rhythmic beats. And let's not forget the ladies and gents who made an extra effort to come dressed in traditional attire. You all looked absolutely stunning! 👗👔

From the tantalizing Bafat Pork to the delightful Chicken Kori rotti, each dish was a celebration of Mangalorean flavors. It was a treat to see the buffet being scooped up with so much gusto! 😋

I was born and raised in the city of Mumbai, with two brothers—an older and a younger one. Though I grew up in Mumbai, my family roots are in Mangalore. My father hails from the beautiful village of Yekkar, and my mother’s side is from Permude. Mangalore has always felt like home, and some of my most cherished memories are from the school holidays spent visiting my grandparents, extended family and cousins I got married in 2004 and, in 2006, my husband Jerry Fernandes and I moved to Melbourne. We are blessed with two wonderful daughters, Shania and Kiara. When it comes to hobbies, I love traveling—especially to places with mountains or scenic views.
