  Today, we kick off our Know Your Committee series with a familiar and much-loved face in our community — Mr. Dolpey Pais. Friendly, hardworking, and always the first to help, Dolpey has been an active supporter of MKC for many years, and we are excited to have him on the 2025 committee! Let’s get to know him a little better… πŸ‘‡ ________________________________________ 🟣 Q: Tell us a little about yourself. 🟒 Dolpey: My name is Dolpey Pais, and I live in Truganina, Victoria. I love playing cricket, going hunting, and fishing. I strongly believe in helping others and staying connected with everyone. 🟣 Q: Where do your roots lie? 🟒 Dolpey: I am proudly from Balehonnur, in the Chickmagalur District. 🟣 Q: What’s your favourite dish? 🟒 Dolpey: Definitely pork chilly — nothing beats it! 🟣 Q: What inspired you to join MKC? 🟒 Dolpey: I joined MKC because I wanted to stay connected with our people, culture, and traditions. Love music 🎢, reading πŸ“š, travelling ✈️, and of course, my mum’s home-cooked food 🍲❤️. I also love my 2 fur babies Levi and LExi 🌍 Roots: Mum’s family is from Urwa, Mangalore 🏑, and Dad is from Bajpe, Mangalore. πŸ› Favourite Mangalorean Dish: Nothing beats my mum’s special biryani πŸ˜‹ and pathrade! πŸ’› Why I Joined MKC: I joined MKC to stay connected to my roots, speak Konkani πŸ—£️, and involve my family in our community.
