The Melbourne Konkan Community (MKC) made history this June by hosting our first-ever Basketball Tournament , and what a phenomenal day it turned out to be! From enthusiastic young players to spirited parents and roaring supporters, the event saw over 130 people come together , turning a regular Sunday into something truly special. 🌅 Early Start, High Energy The day kicked off bright and early at 8:30 am with registrations. The venue was alive with energy – the sound of bouncing basketballs, upbeat music, and excited chatter filled the air. After a warm welcome, MKC Treasurer Elias Mascarenhas led a heartfelt prayer, and President Rota set the tone with a message about playing responsibly, especially when teamed with our younger participants. 🏀 Let the Games Begin!
