MKC's Flavours of Mangalore Dinner Dance: A Celebration of Culture and Community

The Melbourne Konkan community (MKC) recently hosted its much-anticipated Flavours of Mangalore Dinner Dance, and what a night it was! Held at the Sacred Heart School Hall in Oakleigh on Saturday, May 4, the event was a vibrant celebration of Mangalorean culture, cuisine, and camaraderie. After the resounding success of last year's event, the MKC committee decided to introduce a Mangalorean buffet for this year's Dinner Dance, and it was an instant hit! The spread featured a mouthwatering array of traditional dishes such as Idlis, Kori Rotti, Chicken Sukka, Beef Chilly, Bafat Style Pork, Chana Tendli Beetroot Salad, and the delectable Vorn for dessert, leaving guests craving for more with every bite.
